FAQs

1. Q How long will it take for my carpet to dry?

A.  Depending on the material, we suggest allowing four to twelve hours to completely dry. We have a eco-friendly protector that can not only protect the carpet for a full year from permanent stains but can speed up the dry time to 2-4 hours.

 

2. Q How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?

A. Carpet manufacturer's recommend  having carpets steam cleaned every 6-12 months depending on usage.

 

3. Q Can I get rid of odors my pet has left behind?

A. Animal urine that is left untreated for an extended period of time may cause permanent damage. When called within 30 days, we can get down deep into all layers of your carpet or upholstery and get rid of the root of the odor-clean it, disinfectant it and protect it.

 

4. Q Do you guarantee removal of all spots or stains in the carpet?

A. We cannot guarantee that we will remove all spots or stains. There are substances that can permanently discolor the carpet fibers. The age of the carpet and the type of carpet fibers also plays a factor in this. The technician will try to determine if this is the case prior to cleaning  but they are not always able to determine this before trying to remove the stains. If the damage is bleach or a burn we can dye or patch the carpet in most cases to correct the problem.

 

5. Q Will the stains that were removed during the cleaning process reappear after the carpet dries?

A. No, the non-toxic chemicals we use eliminate this problem commonly referred to as "wick-back." Any stains removed during the cleaning is removed permanently.

 

6. Q Do you move furniture?

A. Yes we move basic furniture upon request such as tables, chairs, sofa's, etc. There are several items we will not move including: pianos, electronics, china  cabinets, beds, dressers, pool tables.

 

7. Q Why should I have my leather professionally cleaned?

A. Like any skin leather needs regular care to retain its moisture and softness. Most store-bought leather cleaners and conditioners provide immediate relief but end up causing long-term damage. Professional products applied by professional technicians will keep your leather looking and feeling great for a long time.

 

8. Q Why should  I have my ducts cleaned?

A. By cleaning the entire HVAC system, you may see an increase in the energy efficiency of your system, which in some cases translates to lower utility bills! These cleanings may also extend the life of your furnace or air condition system by reducing wear and tear.

 

9. Q Do you charge a travel charge and what are your service areas?

A. We don't charge a travel charge for any area that is within 30 miles from zip code 60546. Any area outside of this radius is charged a nominal  $15 travel charge. We also don't charge any taxes.

 

10. Q What is on-site carpet dyeing?

A. Spot-dyeing stains or full carpet dyeing can either completely change the color of the carpet or restore the faded color at a significantly lower price than replacement. Carpet dye is primarily applied with a sprayer and then mechanically scrubbed in. The carpet can be walked on almost immediately and its safe for both children and pets.
